James Dondero is a co-founder and the president of Dallas-based asset management firm Highland Capital Management, L.P. He has been nominated to be in the Executive Board of the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox School of Business. Highland Capital Management it was founded in 1993 by James Dondero and his co-founder Mark Okada. Highland is one of the largest, greatest and experienced global with another credit and equity managers. It has been instrumental in providing alternative investment solutions for more than 20 years.
