Julia Jackson is the youngest daughter of Jess Jackson, the founder of the Jackson Family Wines company. Julia working role within her family’s establishment is as the company’s proprietor. When she was growing up, Julia recalled toiling the vineyards at a very young age along with her siblings, father and family-employed field workers during the summer days. The days were indeed very hot and her father would keep reminding them that to know success, it has to come with hard work so it is to be fully appreciated. Julia Jackson would never forget what her father had told her and promises to keep the company within the family and to always work hard. She currently works alongside the Jackson Family Wines international sales team, hoping to introduce her family’s wine to the next generation of eager wine connoisseurs from all around the world.
The company produces rich wines from their wineries located in France, North America, Chile, South Africa, Australia and Italy. Their most popular brands include: Champ de Reves (a rich pinot noir), Cabernet Franc (merlot-based) and Lassègue.Julia Jackson graduated with a BA degree in Studio Arts at Scripps College, Claremont, CA, in 2010. She receive a summer certificate from the Stanford School of Business in 2010 as well. During her college days, Julia taught French on the side to six-graders. Her fluency in French came after staying all summer long at one of her family’s wineries in Bordeaux, France. There, she became lifelong friends with the winemaker’s French-speaking daughter. Her non-profit outfit called Cambria Seeds of Empowerment was brought to life in 2014. The program celebrates powerful women that overcame obstacles placed by them in the business world. The women share their struggles to others that were in their same situation. The program awards about $100,000 in cash annually to other non-profit organizations that share the same values.
